Manifesting Marilyn: The Making of an Icon is a new cultural immersive exhibition revealing the strategist, thinker, reader, and dreamer behind one of the world's most enduring icons, Marilyn Monroe– and invites guests to imagine their own new beginning.
Where is the exhibition located?
Manifesting Marilyn is located at Genesis House, 40A 10th Ave, New York, NY 10014, between W 13th and 14th Streets. We look forward to seeing you soon.
What hours is the exhibition open?
The exhibition is open Tuesday to Sunday, 11AM–7PM, through August 2. Genesis House Restaurant guests have access to extended hours after completing their restaurant experience.
How long will the exhibition be open?
Manifesting Marilyn will be available to experience from June 2, 2026 through August 2, 2026. We hope you're able to join us.
Do I need reservations to attend?
The exhibition is open to the public; no tickets or reservations are required. Genesis House Restaurant guests have access to extended hours after completing their dinner reservation. Book a dinner reservation with us on Resy.
How long does the exhibition take to walk through?
We recommend exploring for 10–15 minutes to experience it fully.
Will there be food available?
The Genesis House restaurant is open throughout the run of the exhibition. We encourage you to join us on the second floor for our distinctly Korean hospitality. We recommend making a reservation through Resy.
Is parking available?
Genesis House does not offer valet or validated parking. There are several public parking garages within a few blocks.
Is the exhibition wheelchair accessible?
Manifesting Marilyn was designed with all guests in mind, with a wheelchair-accessible pathway and ramp throughout the experience. If you require any special accommodations, please email info@genesishousenyc.com ahead of your visit and our team can help ensure a seamless experience.
Is the exhibition kid-friendly and stroller accessible?
The exhibition is open for all ages. We do ask all guests to be mindful of delicate elements of the exhbition while exploring. We hope you join us soon.
Are pets allowed inside?
Genesis House is happy to accommodate service animals. For any other accommodations, please email info@genesishousenyc.com ahead of your visit.
Will there be strobe lights or loud noises?
Manifesting Marilyn features instances of fast-moving images within the 360° digital experience. While strobes are not in use, guest discretion is advised for those with any sensitivity to bright lights, moving images, or loud noises.
Can visitors touch the experience or displays?
We ask all guests to be mindful of the exhibition and refrain from touching delicate elements. However, some portions of the exhbition encourage interactivity. Our staff will make clear where these are.
Can I post pictures to social media?
We encourage guests to capture and share their experience. Please be mindful of other guests while taking photos and videos in the installation.
Will there be live performances?
Manifesting Marilyn does not include live performances. The digital experience runs throughout open hours.
Is there a Korean tea service component?
There is no tea served as part of the installation, but our Tea Pavilion on the second level is open to guests. We recommend reserving through Resy.
Are guided tours available?
Our onsite team is available daily to provide tours of Genesis House. For guided or group tours of Manifesting Marilyn, please reach out via our website to coordinate with our team.
