A vivid journey through light and color illuminating the world of Korean folktales, in partnership with Ashley Park.
EXPLORE CHROMA: TALES BETWEEN HUES
Genesis House and Ashley Park invited guests on a colorful journey of light and sound, where a curated series of Korean folktales were reimagined through the Korean Obangsaek color palette. Each space transformed narrative moments into an immersive encounter shaped by cultural heritage.
Inspired by Korean folktales, each vibrant scene within CHROMA: Tales Between Hues unfolded as a thematic passage of discovery. Story elements were brought to life through immersive scenic design, reflecting the lessons and emotions embedded in each tale. Along the path, guests uncovered moments of beauty, symbolism, and surprise.
Each of the five colors of the Korean Obangsaek palette was transformed into a chromatic environment. Whether shaped as freshly chopped yellow trees, a field of red cosmos, or the flowing blue currents of water, every hue guided visitors on a unique journey into a reimagined world.
Every step and every shade across the installation was crafted to evoke a distinct emotional response. Guests were invited to feel the integrity of the noble woodcutter, the warmth of unconditional love as magpies and crows bridged the stars, and the universal human connection at the heart of each Korean folktale.
