Substance abuser, ages 18 and up, male and female, pregnant and parenting (children ages birth to 12). We will accept dual diagnoses mentally ill, substance abusing clients; however, the primary complaint must be chemical dependency. Clients may not be suicidal, psychotic, violent, or guilty of sex offenses.

ADATSA/PPW Clients: Assessment Center counselor contacts Genesis House and sets up a bed date for the prospective client. If the client meets the admission requirements and is willing to accept the program rules and philosophy, the client will be accepted into the program.

Non-ADATSA or out of state clients: Contact the admissions person (Laurel Reiter). A phone interview will be scheduled to determine eligibility requirements and to see if the client is willing to accept the program rules and philosophy. A one time $1,200 intake fee is charged to cover the costs of admission until a person becomes eligible for public assistance. Laurel does an assessment and if they are appropriate they will be intaked into treatment.
