Brother Christopher Eskeli and Rodney Pearson established Genesis House in 1971. During a 1983 reorganization, the Board was expanded from 3 to 15 members and a long-range plan was developed to purchase a permanent site.

The present facility, formerly a nursing home, was purchased and occupied in 1985. The Treatment Staff is composed of seven Chemical Dependency Professionals with 8-25 years experience in the Chemical Dependency Field.

Genesis House has the capacity for 35 adult beds and 15 children’s beds.
